Letting more people become aware of issues around development is very important. It allows people to understand that they can also be involved in small ways to help raise awareness about development issues. Development is not for a certain type of person it is for everyone. Fundraising,writing articles and giving talks are one way I have chosen to do this.

The cake and African Jewellery sale was another way money was raised for Yaarah schools at university. With the baking help of my housemates, Lucy Moore and Sophie Buckingham we raise just over £100
